Ma Momma’s House of Cornbread, Chicken, and Waffles (MMH) is a family-owned restaurant specializes in southern comfort foods with recipes handed down from the owners’ mothers, grandmothers, aunts and uncles. Guests enjoy an atmosphere replicating an authentic New Orleans’ Soulful Momma’s Kitchen, where they can often reminisce of being at their Momma’s House.

The Entrepreneur
Nicole P. Mackie
Nicole P Mackie is a Cum Laude accounting graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and holds 45% ownership in the MMH Brand. Nicole has worked in the financial services industry for 19 years, in such roles as Internal Auditor, Mortgage Loan Officer, and National Sales Manager. Her responsibilities for the MMH Brand include: external sales, media voice, business development, social media, bookkeeping, policy & procedures.
Rene P. Guzman
Rene P. Guzman has over 21 years of restaurant experience, in such roles as hostess, server, pantry chef, pastry chef, line cook, and lead cook. In her nine years in the financial services industry, her roles included line teller, teller supervisor and assistant retail branch manager. Rene holds 10% ownership in the MMH Brand, and her current responsibilities are general manager of restaurant operations and food services, recipe documenter and tester, trainer, inside sales, and media face.
