Michele Burton-Oatis (Co-Founder)
Michele Burton-Oatis was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Xavier University Preparatory School, Dillard University and the University of New Orleans. She gives credit to each experience in these institutions for helping to shape and mold the person she is today. Michele is no stranger to educating and helping those in need, having spent nearly seventeen years as a Special Needs Educator. However, most of her praise is to her husband, family members, friends, and the experiences they have shared throughout the years. Her family taught her to recognize my talents and blessings and to share them unreservedly. They have supported her in any and all ventures and adventures in my life and for that she is eternally grateful. Michele uses these talents in CupCake Fairies by offering the finest confections with a touch of magic.

Melissa Woods (Co-Founder)
Melissa Woods is a native New Orleanian. She attended Xavier University Preparatory School, Dillard University, and the University of Phoenix. She has extensive experience in finance. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, business management and finance. Melissa believes that her three amazing children, family, and friends is the driving force behind her Dedication to follow her dreams. She is committed to making a positive impact in her community. Her love for her family and community is felt at Cupcake Fairies. This dedication and commitment are factors in the success of Cupcake Fairies.
