Introduction to Zack Smith’s photography philosophy of “Shooting for the Wall” as it pertains to making stunning, high quality, photographs for print. Zack Smith will cover the processes of archiving, tagging, and editing your photos through Camera RAW – Bridge and Photoshop using the Photoshop Creative Cloud. Storage techniques will also be covered.
This class is intended for budding and experienced image makers who seek to elevate and enhance their image quality in preparation for printing and displaying their work.
In this age of our “backlit reality,” of constantly viewing our lives through the computer, iphones, and ipads we have lost the way that our images should be shown: on the wall. Only when our images are printed, we see the light falling on our photo as we first saw light falling on our subject: not backlit, but front lit.
It is recommended you bring your cameras and lenses, laptops with Bridge and/or Photoshop loaded, but is not required. We will mostly be in discussion via projector and Q&A.
$150 per attendee. This class is limited to 10 people. It will be opened on future weekends if there is demand.
