Applications to PitchNOLA: Water 2021 are now open to entrepreneurs with viable strategies to solve problems in urban water management, coastal environments, or the local water economy. PitchNOLA: Water 2021 participants will receive pitch coaching, a financial coach, and design support in preparation for a virtual showcase on June 3rd, 2021. Over $15,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to showcase winners, as determined by a virtual judging panel.

PitchNOLA: Water 2021 will consist of 2-3 Startup ventures (under $75,000 in annual revenue), and 2-3 Growth ventures ($75,000 – $500,000 in annual revenue). Finalists will work with Propeller staff to prepare for the virtual event showcasing their proposals for solutions to solve problems in urban water, coastal environment, or local water economy. Participants will receive pitch coaching, storytelling development, videography assistance, graphic design, and financial projections. Startup ventures will also have the option to enroll in Propeller’s 2021 Impact Accelerator Program as an additional benefit.

For this event, we’re looking for concrete solutions that can make a big difference in our urban and coastal water environments. We’re also looking for ideas with sustainable revenue streams or innovative financing mechanisms. At Propeller, we view water as a broad sector that affects many areas of our lives as Louisianans.

All interested applicants are encouraged to attend this Q&A session. Join us on Zoom Tuesday, March 16th at 5:30 pm. We will be covering eligibility, the application, judging criteria, with ample time for specific questions.
