May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Our health sector will be hosting a lunch talk on digital art therapy and a virtual reality demo, led by Dr. Jedediah Walls of Moebius Art Therapy, to continue the important conversation on mental health.
About Moebius Art Therapy
Dr. Jedediah Walls is a Media Psychologist who studies how digital technologies and art help us live happier lives. His approach to wellness includes New Media, virtual reality, spatial audio and “installation art” which includes building large sets made out of 3-D printed materials and LED lights. Through his practice, Moebius Art Therapy, he hopes to use media technology to deliver targeted mental health interventions and to address barriers to accessing health services that affect the quality of life in New Orleans.
