Tech Talent South will be hosting guest speaker Max Gaudin of Operation Spark.

Max will speak to his experience teaching at-risk New Orleans youth how to code.

Operation Spark is opening a new door to prosperity for disconnected youth by presenting the fastest route to a career in software development. Operation Spark help youth develop themselves, their skills and build the path to a strong career.

As COO, Max focuses on overall strategy, fundraising, volunteer happiness, building partnerships, and keeping John on his toes. Max enjoys bringing his business savvy and hussle mindset from the for-profit world and injecting it into Operation Spark. Max studied Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism at the University of New Orleans.

Max is a native New Orleanian, software developer, and previously founder and CEO of two local technology startups, Sidework and Airpnp. He is an active member of the New Orleans technology community and organizer of 1 Million Cups New Orleans.
