Limited Times’ mission is to provide accessible and affordable complex legal research. Their first product, the Durationator® Copyright System, helps customers understand whether a particular work (e.g. poem, song, movie, novel) is in the public domain or under copyright. The Durationator makes the world a better place one search at a time by providing accessible, affordable, unbiased information in a quick and easy manner.

In an age where digitization is becoming widespread globally, it has become increasingly difficult and expensive to determine the copyright status of any object. Our software, compiled from years of legal research, can make that determination effectively and quickly.
- Developed an innovative software platform that can determine the copyright status of any object anywhere in the world
- 10 major customers including the University of Michigan, Tulane University, The Museum of Modern (New York), and the Frick Collection (New York) supplied with product
- 9,000 individual properties processed to determine copyright status
Propeller has been our rock, our go-to place to help us with our host of development needs. But it also has been a home. We have been mentored, we have had support in key moments, and we have had a place to share our joys and frustrations. We have learned from the consultants, from the pro bono network, and from our peers. The Propeller staff has really nurtured us and our project, helped us believe in ourselves, and facilitated making our dreams come true.
