Achieving an equitable economy is key to solving today’s societal challenges. Our inclusive procurement program focuses on increasing contract opportunities for Black and BIPOC entrepreneurs. We create and match market opportunities to BIPOC entrepreneurs and provide 1:1 bid preparation, contract negotiation, and networking support to increase receipts going to Black-owned businesses. 

We network with prime contractors and procurement officials at anchor institutions to help BIPOC entrepreneurs bid successfully for projects and opportunities in construction, green infrastructure, professional and non-professional services, and food consumer packaged goods. We help facilitate partnerships and joint ventures and connect them to mentor-protege programs between primes and subs, and complete projects. We coordinate efforts with the anchors to make opportunities available to BIPOC-owned businesses to build the pipeline and to create opportunities at different levels to increase the accessibility of contracts and growth opportunities for businesses. 

We have a strong partnership with Ochsner and Morrison Foods to increase the number of diverse suppliers in the supply chain. Since Meet the Primes in June 2024, 18 contracts totaling in $5.2 million have been generated.
