Ardell Toney
Ardell Toney has been a licensed barber and stylist since July 1997. Toney opened his shop in October 2000 and in 2014 became a barber and stylist instructor. Born and raised in New Orleans’ Desire Housing Project as the second oldest of 10 boys and 2 girls, Ardell grew up with the responsibility of taking care of his siblings in every sense of the word. After being released from 10 years of incarceration, Ardell decided to make a career out of barbering. He seeks to provide insightful mentorship to his clients as he grooms their hair by passing on wisdom he has learned through is own life experiences. Although he runs a business, he considers his clients family.
