Kanitra Charles, Director
Kanitra holds a degree in Information Systems an is pursuing her MBA with a concentration on the Public Sector. She has several years of experience in the nonprofit arena as well as the public sector. While working at United Way SELA, she held the position of Community Impact Data Manager and gained a vast amount of experience with the Children and Families Impact Area, as well as, the processes involved in grant development and donor designations.
Kristi Givens, Founder
Mrs. Givens is the owner and Director of Kids of Excellence. She has a Bachelors and Master Degree in Social Work specializing in Children and Families. She also holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans. She is a Louisiana Pathways Child Care Development Trainer at the highest level, Level 4. and is a Licensed Child Care Health Consultant. She has Accreditation from the University of Queensland in Level 3 Primary Care Triple P working with Positive Parent Program. She has presented at the National Conference here in New Orleans. She holds National Administrator Credential and CDA PD Specialist for Council for Professional Recognition.
Pearlie Harris, Founder
Pearlie Harris is the owner and Director of Royal Castle Child Development Center. She holds a Bachelors in Nursing and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans. She is a Louisiana Pathways Child Care Development Trainer at the highest level, Level 4. and is a Licensed Child Care Health Consultant. Royal Castle was the first 5 Star Center in the GNOA and was visited by First Lady Michelle Obama. Pearlie Harris desires to see all children have an opportunity to receive a high quality education.
Rochelle Wilcox, Founder
Rochelle Wilcox is the Executive Director of Wilcox Academy of Early Learning, located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mrs. Wilcox started her career as an early childhood educator with the mission of providing equity and quality education among all children. She is very passionate and tenacious about her calling. Her motto is Love, Learn and Lead.
