This Fall, A Program to Start, Grow, and Transform Businesses

Propeller Opens Applications for Its Signature Impact Accelerator

3 June 2019

Propeller is excited to announce that applications are now open for its Impact Accelerator, a free, comprehensive program designed to support entrepreneurs as they start, grow, and transform their businesses.

The 4-month interactive program provides both early-stage and established entrepreneurs with individualized business coaching, mentorship and connections to leaders within their industry, high caliber business curriculum, and free access to paid consultants and work space.

Propeller will select up to 30 businesses for its cohort, who they will assist in building strong, financially successful ventures grounded in social impact, racial equity, and demonstrated commitment to the prosperity of Southeast Louisiana.

Since launching its first Accelerator program in 2011, Propeller has established a track record of over 200 graduate entrepreneurs, supporting them as they open first and second locations, secure multi-million investments, and successfully bid contracts with city and state agencies.

The program is free and open to all entrepreneurs working in the following focus areas:

Community Economic Development
Brick-and-mortar businesses led by entrepreneurs of color that create jobs and build community along the Broad Street corridor.
Education
Social-emotional learning, family and community engagement, or equitable and culturally relevant practices, policies, and approaches within classrooms, schools, and education systems across New Orleans.
Food
