Propeller is now accepting applications for PitchNOLA, a three-part series of pitch competitions that will award $35,000 in total prizes to entrepreneurs tackling inequities in the Greater New Orleans area. The series is open to all entrepreneurs with nonprofit and for-profit ventures to address racial disparities in food, water, health, and education. Each competition in the PitchNOLA series will take on a key issue area, beginning with the Water Challenge presented by the Greater New Orleans Foundation on April 3rd. The Education Challenge presented by Capital One will follow on April 17th, and the series will close with the Health & Food Challenge presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana on May 1st.
