Propeller Pro Bono Professional Network

Be Part of the Solution: volunteer your professional expertise to build the social entrepreneurship movement

Looking for a way to get involved in the New Orleans Startup Community?

Propeller’s Pro Bono Network

Starting a new business requires all hands on deck. Behind the success of Propeller’s Impact Accelerator programs, lies a network of committed professionals from wide-ranging fields — accounting, law, PR, social media, web design, fundraising, etc. We believe people connect to people. That’s how true change is implemented. Join Propeller’s Pro Bono Network to apply your expertise to invest in the success of new, socially-responsible ventures within New Orleans.

What’s Involved?

  • The commitment is just 10-15 hours per year.
  • You’ll work one-on-one with our Entrepreneurs and Alumni on projects that match your skill set.
  • Before connecting you with a project, we’ll check in to see if you have the time and interest.
  • Within any given year, you could work on one or more projects.

“In a city full of fantastic volunteer opportunities, the Propeller Pro Bono Network is one of the few I’ve found that allows me to blend my professional skill set as a business lawyer with my passion for public service and community betterment. Combine that with great staff and committed entrepreneurs and it’s hard to think of a better way to volunteer my time.”
— Jonathan E. Brouk, Chaffe McCall, L.L.P

“Hands down, Where Y’Art would not be where it is today without the support of the Propeller staff and it’s network of rockstar professionals . . . I am proud to call them advisors, believers and friends.”
— Catherine Todd, Propeller Fellow (‘13)
