About the Workshop: In this 2-hour workshop, you will create original lettering, prepare artwork for the computer, and learn best-practices for handling files with various applications. This course is great for designers and programmers who want to add a hand-made touch to their websites and client projects. A breakaway session is available afterwards for those interested in learning the basics of hand-lettering.

About the Facilitator: Liz Cooke is the founder and Creative Director of Lionheart Prints, a New Orleans design studio specializing in hand-lettering with humor and heart. Her greeting cards and gift products brighten the shelves of shops all over New Orleans and nationally. She believes that there is powerful emotional energy communicated through hand-written words. Supplementing a clean design strategy with hand-lettering is a surefire way to differentiate your look from the herd.
