Join Amanda Aguillard of Aguillard Accounting as we explore the in’s and outs of Xero, a smart and simple accounting software hosted in the cloud. That means it’s capable of providing you with anytime, anywhere access to important business financial information. As flexible as it is intuitive, Xero accounting seamlessly connects to many payroll, inventory tracking, and time management applications, providing an easy-to-use interface that drives greater insight into your daily business.
In this one-hour session, we will touch on how to set up your company in Xero, create a meaningful chart of accounts, connect bank feeds, reconcile bank activity, receive and spend money, and run reports.
More about the facilitators:
Amanda Aguillard decided to become a CPA when she was 16, and never looked back. She loves spreadsheets and bank reconciliations, and is a fanatical planner. She holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Denver, where her love of the outdoors came second only to her love of obscure tax law. She spends any spare time cooking for her two kids, volunteering on fundraiser committees, and reading historical fiction. She is slightly obsessed with Penzey’s Spices and Chris Thile.
Monica Laverne calls herself a recovering CPA. Her resume includes fancy terms like “bottom-line orientation” and “cost/financial analysis.” She worked hard to earn her degree and certification, but she can’t stand to be stuck in details. Monica is the visionary and dreamer, unafraid of change. When she isn’t crafting business plans, she’s planning another European vacation. She finds cheese downright sexy.
