Join Propeller and GNO, Inc to discuss the sneak preview of a report prepared by past Water Challenge winner, Tierra Resources, and supported by Entergy through their Environmental Initiatives Fund, that depicts the emerging wetland carbon market.

Carbon Market Opportunities for Louisiana’s Coastal Wetlands,“ a two-year assessment of the potential to develop blue carbon projects on Louisiana’s coast, predicts up to $1.6 billion in wetland restoration funding over the next 50 years. Representatives from Entergy, the Environmental Defense Fund, ConocoPhillips, the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, and St. Charles Parish will join the discussion on how the results of the report will affect current and future coastal restoration efforts, and where entrepreneurs can tap into this market.

Refreshments and networking opportunities will follow the discussion.
